Library Worker Honored At FDL Public Library

Appropriately enough the Fond du Lac City Council honored a longtime library worker with a proclamation at the place she has helped out a number of people over the years. Due to the audio and video equipment renovations in the legislative chambers of the City-County Government Center the Council met at the public library this week. They honored Nancy Groff for her 25 years of service to the City. She started as a library clerk in August of 1989 and is retiring as the Circulation Supervisor. Library Director Jon Mark Bolthouse told the Council she had a hand in a lot of things at the library including the displays people see there. The proclamation presented to her talked about how she always brought a smile, a quick laugh, and a funny story to everyone around her.
