Lightning Causes Beaver Dam House Fire

A Beaver Dam family was displaced by fire after a lightning strike hit their home at 226 Park Avenue late Thursday night. Officials with the Beaver Dam Fire Department say the attic of the two-story home had significant damage. There was also considerable water and smoke damage throughout the rest of the home. No one was injured during the blaze. The home is owned and was occupied by the Michael Roberts’ family. Fire departments from Juneau, Horicon, and Fox Lake provided mutual aid.
