Local Company Is Popping Up A Great New Idea

A local company has switched gears just a bit, and is now front and center in creating cloth masks for everyone. Family members Ali, Jenny and Jeff Faris are well-known in the world of gourmet popcorn, as they have grown Faris Gourmet Popcorn to a well-known, and well-liked, brand.

Now, their United Manufacturing Industrial Sewing company, is creating two kinds of filtered face masks that are available for purchase, and are already being used. Hospital staff, first responders and law enforcement around the country are using the masks, which are being created by the industrial sewing business also operated by the Faris family.

But the Faris family has taken their ingenuity one step further, donating $1 of each mask sold, to the The Salvation Army of Fond du Lac. “As a family,” Ali announced, “we have decided to donate a portion of each mask sale to The Salvation Army to help you equip those who need it with critical resources that keep our community afloat.”
