Local Couple Reports $20,000 Camper Missing

With the camping season set to open up this coming weekend at a number of campgrounds in the area, many folks are looking to get their campers out of storage. One couple tried doing that Sunday afternoon, only to find out their camper had been stolen.

FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies took the call Sunday afternoon, just before 4:45 p.m., from a 45-year old female who arrived at their camper storage location on N. Pioneer Rd., only to find that their 40-ft 2012 camper was no longer on the property. The owner of the camper stated they had just seen the camper on the property a couple of weeks ago.

There are no suspects in the case. The camper is valued at approximately $20,000. Any one who has information that could be helpful in the case, is asked to contact the FDL County Sheriff’s Department.
