Local Man Arrested For OWI While Driving With Children In The Car

He was pulled over late
Thursday evening on suspicion of driving a vehicle that was involved in a crash
earlier. The trooper that pulled him over smelled alcohol as well as observing
slurred speech and impaired vision. 

What the trooper also found were two young
children in the car. 32-year old Miguel Angel Arizmendi Fuentes was arrested
for OWI First Offense following a field sobriety test. The children were placed
to the care of what authorities called a responsible party. 

Fuentes also faces a
number of additional charges, including operating after possession, possession
of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.
