Local Meat Processors Involved In State Fair Auction

Governor Scott Walker’s Blue Ribbon Meat Products Auction at the Wisconsin State Fair Tuesday raised nearly $81,000 for the Wisconsin 4-H Youth programs. Some of that record amount was for meat products made by area meat processors. A Reserve Grand Champion Bone in Ham made by Eden Meat Market was sold for $2,500. Grand Champion Traditional Snack Sausages made by Brandon Meats & Sausages went for a record $1,825. A Grand Champion Specialty Cooked Bratwurst also made by Brandon Meats & Sausages went for $1,500 was re-donated and made another $600 for 4-H youth.
