Set For Van Norman
Jason
G. Van Norman had a $500,000 cash bond set in
Tuesday. He is charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide and
Manufacture/Delivery of Heroin stemming from the death of Devin S. Perry on
October 12th, 2012.
Nance
Suspects In Court
Two women
arrested in suspected connection to the disappearance of 37-year-old Timothy
Nance are scheduled to appear in
du Lac County Court
filed by the Public Defender’s office on Tuesday morning. The two women were arrested last week in
connection with the disappearance of Nance earlier this month. Nance is still missing and authorities
suspect he is dead. The hearing is set
for 11am.

Police Department is investigating a series of burglaries that have occurred at
various businesses located along the Highway 41 frontage roads in the City of

There have been a total of six burglaries reported in the last two weeks in
which cash and electronics have been targeted. It’s believed several of the
burglaries may be connected. The Oshkosh
Police Department is asking local businesses to keep their doors and windows
locked after hours and to activate alarm and camera systems. The public is also
asked to report any suspicious vehicles, people, or activities occurring around
business that are closed. All six
burglaries remain under investigation at this time. Anyone with information

Way Program Getting Response

Trespass & Hunt
As you ramp
up your hunting this long Thanksgiving weekend be sure that you have permission
to be on the land that you hunt.
Sergeant Jeff Bonack of the
du Lac
Sheriff’s Department reminds you to be sure it’s OK to be where you are at even
if you’ve been there before. He says
sometimes land ownership changes so you don’t want to be caught
trespassing. He says an initial
trespassing ticket will cost you $263.50. Bonack adds that even if you are
trailing a deer you shot onto someone’s land it’s a good idea let the land
owner know what you are doing.

Travel

More than 43-million Americans are expected to travel over the upcoming
Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Pam Moen with
Triple-A says that’s down about one-and-a-half-percent from last year. About
873-thousand Wisconsinites are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home
during the long holiday weekend. The busiest travel day will be today.
