Local Police Investigating Hit and Run and Theft of Cigarettes from Marathon Store

Fond du Lac Police are investigating a Hit and Run that occurred sometime late Saturday night into
Sunday. The call came in just before 5pm Sunday afternoon, with police
responding to the 200 block of 4^th
Street Road. A Toyota Sienna parked there was damaged
in a hit and run. Police have no suspects at this time, and anyone with any
information is encouraged to call the Fond du Lac Police Department.

Fond du Lac Police are also investigating a theft overnight of
Cigarettes from the Marathon Gas Station on South Main Street in Fond du Lac. An alarm call was activated at
1:51 am Monday morning, and upon arrival, officers were able to clear the
building. Once the owner of the gas station arrived, it was determined that at least 30 cartons
of cigarettes were stolen. Surveillance video was able to show at least three men entering the building. That video is being looked at as the investigation
