Logan Convicted In Reckless Homicide Of FDL Man

The February 2021 homicide took the life of David Posey.

On Wednesday, the man who was charged with reckless homicide in the incident was convicted of the same charge.

Denell Logan had plead guilty to the charge.

The 31-year old Logan is due back in court in October for sentencing, and if convicted, could face up to 60 years in prison.

Back on February 5, 2021, Posey was found bleeding from a gunshot wound after crashing the vehicle he was driving at about 2 a.m.

Fond du Lac PD arrived at the crash scene, located at the intersection of Sheboygan Street and South Marr Street and found Posey bleeding from a gunshot wound to his left thigh. Posey was unconscious and not responsive.

Posey was transported to St. Agnes Hospital, and then transferred to ThedaCare Regional Hospital, where he later died.
