Lomira Woman Named First Responder Of The Year

A woman from Lomira has been named First Responder of the Year in Wisconsin.

Debra Bintzler received the recognition from 39th Assembly District Representative Mark Born.

Bintzler has served the Lomira community for the past 20 years as a volunteer first responder.

She began volunteering for the Lomira Fire Department back in 2002, logging significant amount of first responder hours with her late husband, Bruce.

The award was created in 2019 with the goal of identifying members of the community who work as first responders, paramedics, EMT providers, firefighters, police officers and sheriff’s duties with distinction.
