Longtime Members of FDL County Sheriff’s Dept, FDL Fire & Rescue Retire

Another longtime member of the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s
Department has called it a career. Deputy Julie Flaherty was honored with the
ceremonial ramp walk this week as she retires after 30 years of service with
the sheriff’s office. Flaherty has spent the last 15 years of her career as the
School Resource Deputy at the Rosendale/Brandon School District.

 

City of Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue also bid farewell to
a longtime member of their department this week. Steve Piper retired after 25
years of service to the fire department Monday and was honored with a
proclamation and given a Key to the City at Wednesday night’s City Council
Meeting.
