Lorrigan Seeks Third Term On FDL City Council

Fond du Lac City Council President Lee Ann Lorrigan is seeking a third term on the Council next month. She says her first term was somewhat difficult because she was learning the ropes. Lorrigan says she has pushed for economic development during her four years on the Council, but it has to be done right. She says everyone needs to be working towards the same goal and it’s the same when it comes to a vision for the downtown. She says lowering taxes is a nearly impossible goal, but getting the most out of taxpayer’s money can be done in the form of sustainability. She says she’s pushing public works and the design firm to build sustainability into anything they might build at Lakeside Park. Lorrigan is one of four candidates running for four seats on the City Council.
