Loss Prevention Meetings Benefit City Retailers

Fond du Lac Police are once again meeting once a month with loss prevention leaders for businesses in the city. Officer Ragan Pecore worked on reorganizing that effort. He notes similar efforts were held in the past, but with changes in personnel among loss prevention employees it went by the wayside. Information is shared at the meetings about known shoplifters and how they operate, which can benefit retailers who don’t have that information. Pecore says there is a lot of retail theft especially leading up to Christmas so he felt getting the loss prevention meetings going again would be a benefit to retailers. Anyone who would like to know more can call him at 322-3700, extension 1040.
