Machine Fire Causes Minor Equipment Damage At Mid-States

FDL Police and FDL Fire/Rescue were called out early Thursday morning (4-9-2020) for a filter fire at Mid-States Aluminum located on Trowbridge Dr. in FDL. The call came in just after 4:00 a.m. Thursday, where an employee reported a filter fire on a bead blast machine. A specially-designed fire extinguisher was used on site, to bring the fire under control. There were no injuries reported, but there was minor damage to the machine.
