Man Accidentally Fires Shotgun In City Of FDL, No Injuries Reported

A Sunday evening rifle accident ends with no injuries and no arrests. FDL Police were called to Rubina Lane just about 5:47 p.m. Sunday, for reports of a shotgun being fired.

Once on the scene, a 29-yr old Fond du Lac male said he was inspecting his rifle and was in the process of cleaning it, when he accidentally fired the gun. A single round went through the north wall of his bedroom, and exited the wall to the outside.

Upon inspection from the outside, it was reported there were no injuries. It was unknown where the bullet ended up.
