Man Arrested Following Fight At Panda Express

A fight between an employee and a General Manager resulted in one man being arrested Thursday in Fond du Lac.

City of Fond du Lac Police responded to Panda Express located in the 800 block of W. Johnson St., in Fond du Lac Thursday afternoon just before 3:15 p.m., where it was reported two employees were fighting in the parking lot.

Initial reports stated that a 19-year old male had been terminated from Panda Express, and following the termination, had punched the General Manager. The irate ex-employee then punched another employee who had come out to check on the General Manager, and proceeded to strangle him around the neck with one arm.

Officers arriving on the scene noticed a male who fit the description of the ex-employee, walking east on Johnson St., and when they approached him, he refused commands and removed his jacket and began emptying pockets. The suspect eventually complied with officers commands but not before a taser was presented as an alternative means of getting the male under control.

The man was arrested on charges of Strangulation, two counts of Battery, two counts of Disorderly Conduct, and Discharging of Bodily Fluid.
