Man Arrested for Ninth OWI after Crash on I-41

A 46-year-old man from Marshall has been arrested for his 9^th
OWI offense after a crash near Appleton Thursday morning. Larry M. Eldridge was
found unconscious in the vehicle after he crashed his car into a concrete wall
on Interstate 41 near Prospect Avenue around 7 AM Thursday. A State Patrol trooper
responding to the crash found open intoxicants in the vehicle and the odor of
alcohol was present on Eldridge. Eldridge was taken by ambulance to Theda Clark
Hospital in Neenah for treatment. In addition to being arrested for OWI, Eldridge
faces charges for his second offense of operating after revocation. He was the
only person in the vehicle.
