Man Charged With Transporting $148k In Meth Arrives In Court

It was the largest amount of meth ever seized in the City of Fond du Lac. Over 3.25 pounds, with a street value of $148,000. Now the man accused of bringing the drugs into Fond du Lac has been charged. 

Adrian Irby was in court Tuesday, charged with six counts including possession with intent to delivery amphetamine. The 35-year old Irby is being held on a $300,000 cash bond. He made his initial court appearance Tuesday. 

Irby was arrested back on February 19th, during a traffic stop. Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered the meth along with a handgun.  Irby now returns to court March 6th for a preliminary hearing.
