Man Injured In Dodge County Traffic Accident Dies

County Sheriff’s officials say an 87-year-old Nashotah man injured in an
accident on Highway 151 this past week has died. Charles Scheuerell died Friday
night at the UW-Hospital in Madison. He was hurt when another vehicle ran into
the back of his car on Highway 151 south of Forest Road Wednesday afternoon. He
was slowing to make a left turn at the median crossover. Forty-seven-year-old
Mark DeHeck of Kewaskum ran into the back of his vehicle. Scheuerell was taken
to Beaver Dam Community Hospital and MedFlight then flew him to the UW-Hospital
in Madison. DeHeck suffered minor injuries, but wasn’t taken to a
hospital.
