The shooting outside the Press Box Tavern in September of 2017 ended with Logan C. Foster dead. One of the two men involved in the killing was back in court Tuesday in Fond du Lac. The shooting took place September 23, 2017.

27-year old Jesse Schultz appeared for a sentencing hearing and received 32 years in state prison for the fatal shooting. Schultz will also received an additional 14 years of extended supervision.

Schultz faced initial charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide, but a plea agreement allowed Schultz to plead to a lesser charge of reckless homicide.

The other person involved in the fatal shooting, Devon F. Neuman, is due back in court in March.

Foster’s body was found in a parking lot across from the Press Box Tavern. He was robbed of several hundred dollars and was shot twice. Neuman and Schultz were originally held on $1 million cash bonds.
