Man Sentenced In 2016 Accident That Took The Life Of One

The incident happened over 3 years ago. It was a head-on collision that took the life of one person and seriously injured another. Now, the person that caused the accident will face 18 months in jail. 58-year old James Jensen pled no contest back in January to one count of Homicide by Negligent Operation of a Vehicle and one count of Causing Injury While Operating Under the Influence. 

At the time of the accident, Jensen was under the influence of alcohol when he crashed the vehicle he was driving into the vehicle containing 23-year old Brock Hoekstra. Hoekstra was killed in the accident, which also seriously injured a 17-year old teen from Waupun. 

The accident occurred back on November 21 of 2016.
