Man Suffers Gunshot Wound in NFDL

on Sunday night for a call regarding a man who suffered a gunshot wound. The
52-year old man was conscious when officers arrived on scene just after 6:50pm
– and he was taken by North Fond du Lac Ambulance to the Flight for Life
hanger, where he was then flown to
in
treatment. His injuries reportedly appear non-life threatening. The incident
remains under investigation – but preliminary information shows it may have
been a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No further information is being released
at this time. Police say the public is not at risk.
