Man Suspected of Taking Ripon Girl to Arizona Facing Multiple Charges in FDL County

The 21-year-old Berlin man suspected of taking a Ripon girl
to Arizona is now facing multiple charges in Fond du Lac County. Talin Ross was
arrested Tuesday morning in Phoenix, Arizona after being wanted on an arrest warrant
for second-degree sexual assault of a child in Green Lake County. Ross now
faces 10 counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of child
sexual exploitation in Fond du Lac County Court.

Earlier this week, Ripon Police were looking for 15-year-old
Cassandra Garza who was last seen October 30^th. Original information
said the pair was headed to North Dakota, but information obtained by police
led search efforts to Arizona, where FBI and local law enforcement were able to
track them down. The FBI called Ripon police Tuesday afternoon to confirm that
Garza had been found safe in Tucson. Police expect Ross to be extradited to
Wisconsin in the coming days. He could still face additional state or federal
charges.
