Marian Nursing Participates In Salute The Troops Event

In continuing Marian’s School of Nursing and Health Profession’s commitment to Joining Forces with nurses and the White House to improve the care of our veterans, military service members and their families, the Marian University Student Nurses Association and nursing faculty participated in the Salute the Troops run held on May 25 in Fond du Lac.

In addition to participating in the run, nursing students and faculty were available at various water stations for first aid assistance.

“By participating in this event, nursing students and faculty were inspired to confirm their commitment to Joining Forces along with living Marian’s values of service, community and learning,” said Nancy Noble, associate professor of nursing. “It is important to recognize those who have served our country and support their families who have sacrificed so much.”

Participants in the event include: Chelsea Krentz of Markesan; Kayla Dredske of Neshkoro; Brittani Church of Fond du Lac; Abby Roskopf of Slinger; Natalie Hilbert of Chilton; Rebecca Kwiesielewicz and Kate Kwiesielewicz, both of Merrill; Hailey Lunow of Princeton; Beth Wodsedalek of West Bend; Lynette Rossow of Berlin; and professors of nursing Nancy Noble and Karen Roberts.
