Marian University Announces Staff Promotions

Marian University has announced several promotions, effective immediately.

Jason Bartelt is now serving as the Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management overseeing the departments of Admission, Financial Aid, Marketing/Communications, and Athletics. Most recently, Bartelt was the Vice President for Student Life and Diversity, and Dean of Students/Director of Athletics. He earned his Master of Science in Education from Marian University and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Kinesiology Science from Lakeland University.

Tony Draves has been promoted to Interim Athletic Director. Currently an Adjunct Instructor, Draves also serves as Head Coach of the women’s softball team for the past eight seasons. He has more than 20 years of experience at Marian University. He earned his Master of Science in Education and Bachelor of Science in Education, both from UW-Oshkosh.

Kathleen Candee remains in her most recent role as Interim Senior Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Relations. Holding a Master of Science in Curriculum and Supervision and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Pre-Law from UW-Oshkosh, she has more than 30 years of experience at Marian University, having previously served as the Vice President of Enrollment Management, Student Engagement and Title IX Coordinator. She is an Associate with the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes.
