Marian University Doing Strategic Planning

Marian University President Andrew Manion says they are planning for their future. He says they are in the process now of strategic planning. He says they will fine tune it over the summer and roll out annual plans over the forthcoming years so they can fine tune where they want to go. He says undergraduate enrollment has decreased over the years, but they want to see growth in that and their online offerings. He says they used to close to 1,600 students and now they have closer to 1,200. He says they also want to expand their online programs, which will expand their reach to a greater geographic area. Manion says they also want to expand partnerships in health care, education and other areas. He says right now they are in the process of developing a relationship with ThedaCare around their nursing programs.
