Mayville Acting Police Chief Offered New Contract

Mayville acting Police Chief Ryan Vossekuil has been offered a new contract by the Mayville City Council. The base salary would by $73,400 a year and a 12-month probationary period is being waived because he has been the acting chief since April. The new contract offer will include sending him to police chief training. The Council will review Vossekuil’s contract in a year.  He has been with the Mayville Police Department for 15 years.
