Mayville Police Chief Being Investigated

The police chief in Mayville is under investigation. Chief Chris MacNeill has been placed on administrative leave. Watertown Police are conducting an investigation into allegations, but the nature of the allegations hasn’t been released. MacNeill has been with the Mayville Police Department since 2000 and became Chief in 2011.  Police Captain Ryan Vossekuil has taken over the chief’s duties while MacNeill is on leave.
