MEC Named One Of 16 Finalists

A local company has made it to the Sweet 16 Bracket of the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin Contest. MEC Outdoors, a division of Mayville Engineering, has announced they are the 6th seed in the contest. The Coolest Thing Made contest is hosted annually by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce and Johnson Bank, and is a nod to companies with products made in Wisconsin. Nearly 150 products were nominated, with the MEC 600 Jr. Mark V being one of them, which is a shotshell reloader. The product has been in production since the early 1970’s, and the world’s #1 shotshell reloader. Voting for the Top 16 ends Sunday, September 27 with the Top 8 announced Monday, September 28.
