Men’s Health Program At St. Agnes Hospital

Like women, as men continue to age, there are steps they can take in concert with their healthcare provider to prevent major illnesses or injuries. Each phase of their life brings unique healthcare challenges.

The more men know about these different stages, the more they can do to take a proactive role in their own health. Join Agnesian HealthCare for an informative program on men’s health issues, including male testosterone therapy, erectile dysfunction and the importance of sleep on their well-being.

Journeys: a health resource center is offering this free presentation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8 in the Agnesian HealthCare Plaza Level Conference Center, 430 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac. Refreshments will be served.

Robert Santa-Cruz, MD, a board-certified Agnesian HealthCare urologist, will share information about male testosterone therapy and erectile dysfunction. Many older men have been receiving testosterone therapy to increase their muscle mass, sharpen their memory and concentration, boost their libido and improve energy levels. Find out what’s known – and not known – about testosterone therapy for normal aging.

Allen Foster, MD, a board-certified sleep medicine physician, will discuss sleep issues in men including what keeps men from getting enough sleep; what sleep disorders affect men; how men can sleep better; and diagnosis and treatment options.

Preregistration is required by registering on-line at menshealthsah.eventbrite.com. Individuals without computer access can call Journeys: a health resource center at (920) 926-4960 to register.
