Mercury/Brunswick Steps Up To Help Out During COVID-19

In a time of crisis, companies far and wide step up to provide support both locally and globally. One such company doing just that is right in our backyard. Mercury Marine and it’s parent company, Brunswick Corporation, are donating financially and with product support to help those on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.

Lee Gordon, Director of Communications and Public Relations for Mercury/Brunswick tells KFIZ News that Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac has donated more than 11,000 masks to local hospitals and emergency responders near the headquarters. Employees of Mercury and Mercury Racing have been making masks using 3D printing capabilities for first responders and healthcare professionals locally. Gordon also said The Brunswick Private Foundation made a $50,000 donation to the Red Cross, while Brunswick employees around the world are making personal donations that are being matched by the company.

Dave Foulkes, Brunswick Corporation CEO, said ”During these very challenging times, it is important for us to continue to look for opportunities to help our employees, customers and the communities where we live and work. We all need to do our part right now to lend our resources to those that need them the most, particularly those on the front lines.”
