Mercury Marine And Union Reach New Agreement

Mercury Marine and a union representing employees at its Fond du Lac plants announced a new collective bargaining agreement over the weekend. According to a press release issued by the company the new contract will run through August 26th of 2023. Details of wage and benefit increases were not released. Mercury Marine President John Pfeifer said, “Mercury Marine is committed to hiring and retaining the best workforce.” Pfeifer added,” Both the company and the IAMAW saw an opportunity to strengthen our partnership and worked very closely to put together an agreement that will benefit our employees and the company now and in the future.” Nearly 3,200 people are employed at Mercury Marine’s global headquarters in Fond du Lac and more than 6,000 worldwide.
