Michels And Evers Hit Ground Running After Primary Election

Wisconsin Republican candidate for Governor Tim Michels wasted no time getting out on the campaign trail again after Tuesday’s narrow win over former Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.

Thursday, Michels attended the current largest gathering of people in the state, the Wisconsin State Fair.

Michels walked the crowds with running mate, Lt. Governor candidate Roger Roth and attorney general nominee Eric Toney as well as former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson.

Michels talked with fair goers, shaking hands and taking photos, and talked with voters about the need to vote Current Governor Tony Evers out of office in November in the general election.

“He’s weak from COVID to Kenosha, failing the people of Wisconsin.” Michels said.

Michels said his No. 1 priority is a strong economy and great jobs for the hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding citizens of Wisconsin.

Governor Tony Evers, spent Thursday touring the north west portion of the state, making stops in La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Somerset.

Evers was joined by State Representative and candidate for Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez and Attorney General Josh Kaul.

They spoke to local residents about growing the state’s workforce and filling jobs, supporting small businesses, and protecting
marriage equality.
