Mick Burroughs Runs For FDL City Council

He’s been off the Fond du Lac City Council for a couple of years, but a former City Police Officer is hoping to get another term during the April election. Mick Burroughs served on the police department for 25 years and is now retired. Burroughs says he thinks the City Council did the right thing by deciding to purchase the property next to the library for an expansion effort. He says the library is an important part of Fond du Lac. He believes City staff and the Council are fiscally responsible with taxpayer money. He says when he served on the Council the state had just passed ACT 10 and they were dealing with how that affected the City. Burroughs says when you narrow down he’d just like another opportunity to serve the residents of the City by serving on the City Council. Burroughs is one of five candidates vying for three seats on the City Council.
