Milwaukee Ballot Handling was Routine

The city of Milwaukee
reports the handling of absentee ballots on election night was routine – as
Governor Scott Walker raised questions about their impact on the results of the
governor’s race. The city had to reconstruct about 2,000 ballots due to damage
or other errors. It calls the process routine – and say it was witnessed by
both parties. Walker’s
campaign pointed to those ballots as a reason he did not immediately concede
the race. Walker
did call Tony Evers to concede on Wednesday afternoon.
