Milwaukee, Madison School Districts Announce Virtual Start To School Year

Many school districts, including Fond du Lac, have yet to release their plan for reopening schools this fall. And while we wait to see what the revised plans will look like, public school students in the Milwaukee and Madison School Districts have learned they will be starting their school year virtually. The Milwaukee Public School Board approved a three-phase plan, which allows for students to return to the class room for two days each week, as the threat of COVID-19 decreases. The Madison Metropolitan School District made the decision to hold classes virtually, at least until November 3rd, which coincidentally, is also the date of the next Presidential election.
