Milwaukee Man Sentenced in FDL County Court

A Milwaukee man that
authorities say supplied the heroin that led to the death of an Oakfield man
was sentenced in Fond du Lac County
Court
on Tuesday. Fond du Lac County Judge Gary
Sharpe sentenced Stephen Jordan to 10 years in prison and six years of extended
supervision for first-degree reckless homicide in the death of Gary Van Norman.
Van Norman’s father found him dead at his home in September of 2015. According
to the criminal complaint, Jordan and others were involved in the sale of
heroin and cocaine in southeast Wisconsin
in 2015 leading up to the death of Van Norman. Cell phone records helped lead
investigators to Jordan.
Search warrants uncovered drugs and cash at his Milwaukee home. Jordan plead “No Contest” to the
charge on May 1st of this year.
