Milwaukee Woman Pleads Guilty To Concealing Death Of Baby Theresa

A Milwaukee woman has pleaded guilty to concealing the death of her newborn daughter more than a decade ago.

Forty-five year-old Karin Luttinen pleaded guilty in Dodge County Circuit Court Monday to a felony count of concealing the death of a child, in a deal with prosecutors.

Luttinen faces up to a year and a half in prison at her August sentencing. The newborn’s body was found in April of 2009 and investigators called her baby Theresa after the village near where she was found.

Luttinen was arrested in March following a DNA analysis of evidence found at the scene.
