Missing FDL County Man Listed On FBI Missing Person Site
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department is working with the FBI to locate a missing Fond du Lac County man. James S. Ruland was last seen in October of 1995 and has been officially added to an FBI website for unsolved missing persons cases. Ruland was last seen Oct. 26, 1995 in North Fond du Lac.
Ruland’s sister reported him missing nine days after he was last seen. His vehicle, with the keys still in the ignition, was located at the Stretch Truck Stop, along with personal effects.
A $15,000 reward has been offered by Ruland’s family for information that leads to solving the case.
Ruland is described as a White male, six feet tall, 160 pounds with brown hair, blue eyes and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a green camo jacket and silver wire-rimmed glasses.
James Ruland’s DNA profile has been entered into the nationwide CODIS database, according to the FBI.
