Missouri Man Jumps From 3rd Floor Window In FDL

A follow up to the story we brought you yesterday regarding the man that jumped from the 3^rd story room at the Country Inn and Suites. Fond du Lac Police and Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Units were called to the Country Inn & Suites on Merwin Way about 12:25 Friday morning for a report of a male subject who fell from a 3^rd story window.  

Officers found a 41-year-old Missouri man who was hallucinating, and believed he was being attacked by dogs while he was in his hotel room and jumped to avoid the attack.  There were no animals present.  The patient was transported by Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue to St. Agnes Hospital with a leg injury and then later transported to Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. 

Fond du Lac Police Department obtained a search warrant and Officers located a spent handgun casing, small amounts of suspected meth, and a 9mm handgun.  Officers did not locate any bullet holes at the time of the search.  At this time, there are no criminal charges.
