MLB Lockout Reaches Day 99

After what seemed to be a fairly long and productive day between MLB and the MLBPA no resolution was met to the current lockout. Rob Manfred, Commishinor of MLB, canceled two more series as no agreement was met.

That now pushes the earliest start to the season to April 14th. That would make the start of the Milwaukee Brewers season at home versus the St. Louis Cardinals. In total, 184 MLB regular season games have been canceled and will not be made up when a new CBA is agreed upon. Concessions have been made on both sides, but the last major hurdle seems to be the implementation of an International draft like what we see for amateurs stateside.

Milwaukee Brewers baseball will be back on News/Talk 1450 & 100.7 KFIZ once the lockout is over.
