Mobile Home Destroyed by Fire in NFDL

A mobile home was destroyed by fire in North
Fond du Lac
Tuesday evening. Multiple fire departments responded
to the home on Gaslight Drive
around 4:50 pm. Officials say the fire appeared to start in a bedroom and was
caused by a heater that was placed too close to flammable material. The lone
occupant of the mobile home attempted to put out the fire and then exited the
building. They were taken to a hospital for treatment. No firefighters were
injured. Assisting the North Fond du Lac Fire Department at the scene were City
of Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue, Van Dyne Fire Department,
North Fond du Lac Police, the Fond
du Lac
County

Sheriff’s Department, RIT District 1 and Alliant Energy.
