More Cases Of Counterfeit Money Showing Up In City Of Fond du Lac

More counterfeit money has shown up in Fond du Lac. The latest cases are being reported by Horicon Bank, with two separate businesses reportedly taking in separate fake $100 bills over the weekend. The call came in Monday afternoon at about 2:50 p.m., from Horicon Bank, telling police the first phony $100 bill appears to have been passed at the EZ Mart convenience store on W. Johnson St., with another counterfeit bill passed at Jersey Mike’s on N. Peters Ave. Both bills were discovered as weekend deposits were being made from the businesses. FDL PD is looking at video footage of a possible suspect, and asks that anyone with any information contact the FDL Police Department.
