More Time Spent At Home, Yet Packages Still Being Stolen From Porches
FDL Police are asking residents to continue to be vigilant in keeping track of packages that are delivered, as another case of “porch pirating” was reported. The call came in Saturday morning at 8:45 a.m. from a 34-year old male, reporting he had a package delivered in the 200 Block of Superior St.
The package was delivered at 5:41 p.m. Friday night, and the victim said it was stolen off his porch between that time and 9:00 p.m. that evening. Police reports say the package did contain three silver bars worth almost $600. There are no suspects at the time, and anyone that may have information that could be useful, is asked to contact the FDL Police Department.
