More Vehicle Break-Ins Investigated In FDL

Local authorities are investigating another round of vehicle break ins, happening again on the city’s east side.

The first call came in Wednesday just after noon, with reports of a vehicle being broken into in the 200 block of 3rd St. A 35-year old male reported that two backpacks were removed from a vehicle parked in the driveway. Also removed from the vehicle was a drone camera and other miscellaneous items.

Officers were then notified Wednesday afternoon just before 5:00 p.m. by a 35-year old female, who reported her purse and camera and camera gear who removed from her van. The caller stated it likely occurred Tuesday night. The camera and gear were worth approximately $2,500.

Police do not have any suspects at the the time, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the FDL Police Department.
