More Warnings to Stay Off The Ice

Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house. The folks were getting frustrated, because the ice couldn’t support, even a mouse. In case you were wondering, the local is NOT safe. That’s the message the Oshkosh Fire Department and others are trying to get across to area residents, especially with multiple days in the 40’s and rain. John Holland, Public Information Officer with the Oshkosh Fire Department, says the warmer temps are keeping people away from their favorite outdoor activities. And while the ice may LOOK safe, it’s not. Oshkosh Fire Fighters are getting calls of kids on the thin ice near the South Park ponds.
