Most FDL County Public School Districts Getting More General Aid From The State

The Fond du Lac School District will receive $2.4 million more in general aid from the state during the next school year. According to figures from the Department of Public Instruction the district will receive a total of $42.8 million in general aid from the state an increase of 6 percent over the previous school year. DPI officials say more than half of the public school districts in the state will see an increase in their general aid. North Fond du Lac will get about a 3.8 percent increase, the Waupun School District will receive less than a 1 percent increase, and Ripon and Rosendale-Brandon will both be getting about a 2 percent increase. Oakfield’s general aid will be nearly the same. The news isn’t as good for Campbellsport, which will lose about $165,000 in aid or about 2.7 percent less. To see the complete list click here
