Motorcycle Crash In Eden Sends Man To Hospital With Serious Injuries

A motorcycle crash resulted
in one man being airlifted to Neenah
with serious injuries. The FDL County Sheriff’s Department was called out
Wednesday night at 9:20 p.m. to the intersection of W. Main St. and Cty. V in Eden, for a report of a
motorcycle accident.

The initial investigation indicated that the driver of the
motorcycle, a 36-year old male from Eden, was traveling west on Main St. when
he failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection, lost control of the
motorcycle, and ended up in the Paddy’s Pizza parking lot. The man was not
wearing a helmet, and speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.

The
man was flown to Theda
Clark Medical
Center
with serious
injuries. Assisting at the scene were Theda Star Helicopter, Campbellsport
Ambulance, Eden Fire Department and First Responders.
