Motorcycle Crash Results In Critical Head Injuries To One

A late Tuesday evening motorcycle
crash sends a Beaver Dam man to the hospital with critical, life-threatening
injuries. The accident occurred about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday evening, on State
Highway 73, north of County Highway G, in the Town of Westford. Initial investigation shows the 41-year
old operator of the motorcycle was northbound on Highway 73 when he collided
with a deer.

The operator was thrown from the motorcycle, causing injuries to
his head. He was not wearing a helmet. He was flown by Med Flight to UW-Madison Hospital. Alcohol is not believed to be
a factor; however a 24 year old male operating a separate motorcycle in the
group was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated.  Neither operator’s name is being released at
this time. The crash is under investigation by Dodge County Sheriff’s Office
and Wisconsin State Patrol TRU. Randolph Police Department, Randolph
EMS, DCERT,
 Randolph
Fire Dept, Beaver Dam Paramedics and Med Flight all assisted at the scene.
