Multiple Cases Of Boat/Camper Batteries Stolen

Fond du Lac Police and FDL County Sheriff’s Department are reminding boat and camper owners to be on the lookout for thieves. Activity involves campers being stolen from storage properties, and most recently, batteries being stolen from boats and campers. FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call Monday night just before 6:15 p.m., on Cherrywood Drive in Fond Du Lac, for a report batteries being stolen. 

Both departments are reminding residents to keep those items locked up, and if possible, safely stored in areas that contain the proper lighting, surveillance cameras if possible, and if you are renting space, that those places are properly secured. Anyone with any information is asked to called the FDL Police Department or the FDL County Sheriff’s Department.
